LARYNGOSPASM:
A RADIO PLAY
LARYNGOSPASM was a multimedia devised project that spanned over the course of several months. It premiered in April 2020 in the form of a radio play.
LARYNGOSPASM was devised around themes such as faith, love, contractualism, obedience and freewill, and religious expression. Connections are drawn between the ritual sacrifice, martyrdom, and suicide as it is seen in Greek theater, Abrahamic religious texts, and contemporary capitalist society. LARYNGOSPASM was created using excerpts from Euripides, Genesis, the Quran, and letters from early Christian martyrs.
This is clip features non-linear excerpts from LARYNGOSPASM.
